A view of the charming Fitzroy Gardens in elegant East Melbourne. Laid out in the 1850s, the park features sweeping lawns, formal paths, original elm trees, statuary and a number of buildings. Fitzroy Gardens was included on the Victorian Heritage Register in 1998. I took this photo on a lovely autumn morning. The beautiful, sprawling grounds is a favorite of joggers, like the lovely pair in the image. Find yourself. Go Run.
