Twelve Apostles with Sun Flare at Port Campbell National Park

A view of the Twelve Apostles, a collection of limestone stacks off the shore of the Port Campbell National Park, by the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia.

It rained and rained and was mostly cloudy the day we went to see this very famous landscape. I had entirely given up hope of being able to photograph these rock formations without pouring rain, but miraculously, or not unexpectedly (as our guide liked to say, Victoria, Melbourne in particular, was where you could experience “four seasons in one day”) the sun decided to show up for a little while in the late afternoon.

I gave the photo a sun flare-y, vintage-y look. I know I went a bit overboard with the flare thing, but I was so ecstatic to finally see the sun that day I couldn’t help it 🙂
