St Patrick’s Cathedral in Melbourne, Australia is a Roman Catholic Church designed in the Gothic Revival style by the architect William Wardel. This landmark is awe-inspiring in its magnificent scale and superb details. Its construction started in 1858. A popular city sightseeing destination, the church has become an iconic part of Melbourne’s skyline.

I did not fix the camera lens’ perspective distortion of this image, as I actually like the effect. The cathedral is so grand that looking at it from the ground it’s easy to imagine it reaching up all the way to the clouds.
